Choose shower curtains and liners by size, material, weight and care, including extra-long, stall and clawfoot tub options.
The standard US shower curtain is 72 × 72 in. Stall showers use narrower curtains, and tall or ceiling-mounted rods need extra-long sizes such as 84 in or longer. Measure from the rod to a few inches below the tub edge.
Most fabric curtains and many liners can be machine washed on a gentle cycle (check the care label). Spread the curtain out after each shower so it dries, which slows mildew. For rods and hooks, see shower curtain rods and hooks.
